Saturday was one of the longest and most successful days at 702 McKinley. About 18 guys showed up to help drywall, and they got about 85% of the house done! The entire downstairs is done, as well as a little less than half of the upstairs. It looks amazing and feels like an actual, livable house! Sure, there's scrap sheets of drywall leaning against the walls and laying on the floor, and there's drywall dust all over, as well as a variety of tools scattered about, but it feels more real and livable than it ever has before...even more than when the house was bought!
Sean & I cannot thank enough the following people: Doug & Barb(Sean's Dad & Mom, Bates & Aimee (our friends), Mitch (Sean's brother), Chad (Sean's friend), Earl (our neighbor), Dave (Sean's friend), Jason (Sean's friend and the guy who did our siding), Mark, (Sean's friend and D&S Construction employee), Eric (Sean's cousin), Chris (Sean's cousin), Mitch (Sean's cousin), Brad & Joni (our friends), Duane (Sean's uncle), Chris and Alex (Sean's uncle & cousin), and Amy (my mother). I also cannot thank enough my awesome boyfriend, Sean!
Wow!! Looks amazing, the two of you are doing a great job re-habing that house.
